Day3: Online Training

The Ipod launch Revisited

Notice the simplicity of this presentation.

  1. Simple slides
  2. The speaker never looks at the slide behind
  3. Using a variation of NOW-WOW-HOW.
    1. Problem (Now we pay too much for a song)
    2. Result (Wow, in a hard disk we can be paying much less for each song)
    3. Solution (iPod)
  4. See how Compare and Contrast (ICECREAM technique) is used. Examples
    1. It is the size of a deck of cards (instead of just saying the dimensions)
    2. It has 5GB so that you can carry around your entire music library (5GB by itself is meaningless and unrelatable)
    3. iPod is ultra portable, it can fit in your pocket.
  5. What other techniques does he use?
